This year, we were pleased to partner with Fight Against Desert Encroachment (FADE) Africa to commemorate World Environment Day at the Gardens. The event was also supported by the the state’s ministry of Environment. It was an opportunity to bring different schools together to make presentations on the theme in a bid to win a prize for the best presentation. It was to also ensure that more young people are involved in the climate change discourse.
